Krav Maga training can help your work place feel safer, as well as being a fun, active team building exercise.
It is our goal at Krav Maga ATX to help build stronger and safer communities in the Austin area, so we gladly offer private corporate classes for offices, workplaces, and other local organizations.
What is Krav Maga?
Krav Maga is an Israeli self-defense system based on fast, easy-to-learn responses to common, real-world attacks. It draws on techniques from other martial arts and combat sports such as Muay Thai kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Wrestling, and Boxing and combines them with an emphasis on home defense, sexual assault prevention, and surprise attacks.
Krav Maga is meant for everyone of every size, age, and experience level to walk with strength and confidence out in the world.
What to Expect
Krav Maga training is physical. Participants should plan for athletic activity. Wear clothing you feel comfortable moving and sweating in.
Private classes typically include:
- An short introduction to Krav Maga
- A quick warm up with basic calisthenics and movement
- Training on combatives (punches, kicks, knees, and/or elbows)
- 1-2 self defense scenarios per 1-hour session (this might include defenses against strangulation, headlocks, fighting from the ground, bearhugs, etc.)
- Final Q&A
There’s no experience necessary, and all fitness levels are welcome.
Seminars can be hosted on-site at your location or your team can join us in our studio space in South Austin.
