About Our Classes
Krav Maga classes are hands-on self defense classes intended to help you learn to defend yourself as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In these classes, you’ll practice strikes and combinations (how to punch, kick, knee, elbow, etc) and hands-on self defenses.
Krav Maga Level 1: Beginner level Krav Maga. Perfect for folks who have never taken Krav Maga.
Krav Maga Level 2: Intermediate Krav Maga. Restricted to students with a Level 2+ belt rank.
Krav Maga Level 3: Intermediate/Advanced Krav Maga. Restricted to students with a Level 3+ belt rank.
Functional Fitness is a high intensity, skilled based learning group fitness class. We focus on complex movement patterns that frequently involve weights.
In every Functional Fitness class, your coach will personally help you with the movements in the workout.
This class is based on a methodology of “constantly varied functional movement done at high intensity”. We vary the intensity by increasing or decreasing the loads (the weights), the time (how long you are doing something for), and the distance (how far you are traveling or moving a load).
These movements are considered functional because they apply directly to life and self defense: picking up groceries or a person, running with your kids or running from a threat, having the endurance to go for a hike or to fight for your life.
In our KM Bag classes, you’ll have the opportunity to work on strikes and combinations (punches, kicks, knees, and elbows) on our Wavemaster punching bags to improve your striking and overall fitness.
No partner is necessary. These classes are open to all levels of experience.
We recommend hand wraps and/or boxing gloves for this class, but they’re not required.
Virtual/Remote Learning Options
Virtual Krav Maga Technique Breakdown
Every Saturday, Jeff walks through a 5-10 minute Krav Maga Technique Breakdown.
In these weekly videos, you’ll learn the basics of a Krav Maga technique or concept, along with some tips, adjustments, and common mistakes to help elevate your understanding of the hows and whys of our system.
In Virtual Conditioning, we also offer a total-body approach to building strength and stamina, fully modifiable to your level of current fitness in the comfort of your own home.
Conditioning workouts are delivered to our Inside Krav Maga Facebook group every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
Every Friday, Athletic Trainer, Monica Smith, posts a short video on wellness & injury prevention tips.
In the past, she’s covered wellness topics such as how to do dynamic warm up (and why it’s important), the importance of protein, and movements to help improve your coordination.
Live Streaming of Classes
We livestream many of our Krav Maga Level 1 classes, so you can follow along at home.
As part of your membership, you also get access to a backlog of live Krav Maga classes.
All you need is a partner and a pad. (But doing dry work without either is also doable!)
