COVID-19 Update: Closed through at least June 1st, Upcoming Virtual Conference, + Links to Workouts

Hey Fight Family —

On May 6th, Gov. Abbott signed an executive order that would allow gyms to open up with restrictions on May 18th.

We’ve spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out how we might open up, what that could look like, and how our processes might change to keep everyone safe. We’ve been looking to the CDC, local and state governments, and even other gyms for guidelines and ideas.

Yesterday, our whole team—Brett, Monica, Ryan, Amy, Jeff and I—met to discuss whether it made sense to open our studio up to students on May 18th.

The team unanimously agrees it’s not the right time. We will not be opening any earlier than June 1st. We’ll continue to monitor and plan for when we might open up and we’ll continue updating our community as we receive more information and make decisions.

We’ve carefully considered the safety and well-being our students in this decision and I know it’s not what many of you would like to hear. But the truth is that our mission is to make stronger and safer communities and there’s no way we can ensure your (and our) safety by opening right now.

Virtual Classes

In the meantime, we’re finding ways to offer virtual classes and programming to our students.

These playlists are updated regularly.

Virtual Krav Maga ATX Conference

We’ll also host a virtual conference for our members the weekend of May 23, 2020 on a variety of topics. More details on that soon.
